Hi everyone,
I need to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to everyone that was at MTAA’s Field Saturday for spring clean up. We got alot accomplished including repairing the batting cage from what I believe was vandals. An over grown bush in the parking area cut down. The water turned on and a broken pipe repaired from the winter freeze. We still have a couple of things to take handled. Another water pipe broke from the freeze Saturday night. Thanks goes out to Pizza Como for notifying Danielle Shiepe and she notified me so we could turn the water off again. We believe the hot water heater may be shot even though it is only a year old! I must check it out further to be sure! Inside the concession stand was made ready as best as could be without water. Inventory taken to place orders for the first activity at the field which will occur the weekend of April 11th!!!!!
Again thank you all that made time to help with these cleanup items and others not mentioned.
Also I NEED everyone to read this closely. AS of NOW the state law has changed regarding clearances. We as volunteers NOW need two of the three clearances required by the school district. On the forms page there is a CLEARANCE POLICY LETTER which contains the links to file for the two required clearances online. I filed for them while posting the information so I know it is the right stuff. PLEASE do not use the old link as we cannot reimburse for those clearances after today. We NEED these two effective IMMEDIATELY.
Thank You for your attention in these matters and I personally look forward to a great season of baseball and softball!!!
Sincerely
Don Raifsnider JR
MTAA President
