Player Code of Conduct
As a MTAA youth athlete, I agree to the following statements:
- I will,
- respect any and all parents, guardians, guests, coaches and officials
- conduct myself with dignity
- be accountable for my behavior and its outcome
- play by the rules set in place by MTAA
- not cheat in any form
- resolve all conflicts without fighting
- not condemn my team mates for any mistakes they may make
- not use any profane language and/or gestures
- but forth my best effort regardless the outcome
- conduct myself in a grown up manner as to not embarrass myself, parents, guests, coaches or the association
- remember that I am representing MTAA at any/all of my activities
I understand that if I do not conduct myself in the manner described above, I will be subject to disciplinary action set forth by my coach and/or the appropriate sport commissioner.
If requested by the appropriate sport commissioner and/or parent/guardian, the MTAA Board of Directors will review any suspensions given to a player to ensure the fairness of the punishment.
